I watched this guy fill in in Green Bay when they lost Bishop then DJ Smith.

Brad Jones

This guy was in the mix on every play it seemed. Good speed and good in pass coverage.

He is familiair with the 3-4 and Dom Capers and Dick Lebeau's scheme are similar.

With only a 9 game portfolio, I doubt he will get major cash so he could step in day one and give us a starter for years.

I agree. It wouldn't cost much and would be well worth the investment

Larry Grant fits that bill too. He was solid when playing in relief of Bowman earlier this year.

In 2011, he recorded 30+ tackles, 2 sacks, 1 FF and 5 PD in only three starts. That's not bad.

Seems to have worked over time _ if we see no one step up and miss playoffs then I'd start worrying
