Granted, he's probably only being linked to us because of Danny Smith, who loves the guy. I was listening to LaVar Arrington on his radio show today (LaVar and Dukes on 106.7 The Fan in the D.C. area), and he said he's worked out with Lorenzo before. He had nothing but extremely high praise for the guy, saying that the dude had all the necessary physical abilities to fill an outside linebacker role in a scheme like Pittsburgh's.

On top of it all, rumors are connecting us to him anyway:

How would everyone else feel about this? I would like it, personally. Bring him in, test him out, and at the very worst, we have one of the best special teamers in the game right now. Even better, we have a guy in Harrison's spot and don't need to use a high draft pick there (and can trade up to get Clowney next year :chuckle:). Hell, the dude was on the Ravens' practice squad. We know how the last one who followed a similar path turned out. :tt04:

It says he was pursued by Pittsburgh. Bruce! I've had enough of your shenanigans.

That was a mistake by Pittsburgh for not picking him up. My brother's a Redskins fan so I watch their games often and this guy makes every single tackle on ST"s, it's unbelievable. Remember Sean Morey's Pro Bowl season? Lorezenzo's had 3 consecutive season like that at Washington. It's disappointing we couldn't ink a deal with this guy.

that's pretty generous for a ST master - i get it for depth for us - but remember, Cardinals have a permanent lawn chair in our scrap heap for their next starter

My Lord! I didn't even know who he was and we didn't even have a chance!
