Here's my attempt:

1) Arthur Brown (Kansas State) / Jarvis Jones (Georgia)

I prefer Brown over Jones, since he'd make a great Foote replacement and doesn't have the medical red flag. Pretty equal values in my mind.

2) Jonathan Cyprien (FAU) / Margus Hunt (SMU) / Eric Reid (LSU)

I like Hunt a lot, but I'd also like to see a safety out of this draft. Don't know if Cyprien would fall this far, but I'd like

3) Vance McDonald (Rice) / Sio Moore (UConn)

I really like McDonald. I think teaming him with Heath would be a great pairing, and he stands out amongst the tight ends with a combo of hands and blocking.

4) Barrett Jones (Alabama) / Terry Hawthorne (Illinois)

Jones in the 4th would be nice, but Hawthorne would help ease the loss of Lewis.

5) Stephfon Jefferson (Nevada) / Kwame Geathers (Georgia)

I think good RBs could be found later in the draft, and a small schooler could be it.

6) Sean Renfree (Duke) / Denard Robinson (Michigan)

Renfree would make a great backup QB.

7) Ryan Allen (Louisiana Tech) / Alex Dunnachie (Hawaii)

Finally, a punter.

Brown is a huge reach pick at 17. That's a huge over draft in my mind. I'd look at a falling corner at 17 first then a top safety like vaccaro or one of the pass rushers (mingo, jones, ansah)I'd that's not available then one of the best offensive prospects (eifert, Austin, Patterson)....

This is a great year to trade down. Arthur brown in the back end of round 1 would be great but not at 17.

I'm getting concerned if Vaccaro isn't there, what do they do? I just don't feel good about C. Patterson, too high for T. Eifert, J. Jones...maybe, A. Brown maybe. I hate to be on the "move down" bandwagon, but I think I'm there if Vaccaro is gone.

I really like the idea of trading down into the early 20s to get Brown. Getting an extra 3rd or 4th would be great.

Why would we need Barrett Jones (who wouldn't be available in the 4th anyway)

[QUOTE=atlee731;1099015]Here's my attempt:

1) Arthur Brown (Kansas State) / Jarvis Jones (Georgia)

IMHO Brown is a downgrade from Sean Spence (plus he doesn't really fit a 3-4 scheme)... what we really need at linebacker is a thumper inside who's also capable of rushing the passer on the outside (flexible like Lawrence Timmons)... I think Jon Bostic is the most complete LB in the draft that fits this need, but I'm really hoping Sean Spence recovers to backup both positions and eventually replace James Harrison (after putting on more muscle) -or- we somehow get Rolando McClain so we can sure up RB/WR/QB/S depth via the draft. If we do end up picking a linebacker via the draft ideally it'd be Teo (2nd) or Bostic (2nd or 3rd... but honestly I think Bostic has better potential and wouldn't be upset if we traded back and selected him instead so we'd have more 2/3 round picks to address other positions).

To take things in a different direction: in the unlikely scenario Geno Smith slides and he's available at 17 (Aaron Rodgers anyone?) - I think we surprise everyone and snatch him as Roethlisberger's heir apparent (not sold on Gradkowski and Parker-Wilson).

Most likely pick: Eric Reid (LSU) / Matt Elam (UF) / Manti Te'o (ND)

2) Jonathan Cyprien (FAU) / Eric Reid (LSU)

Jon Bostic (Fla) / Justin Hunter (Tenn) / Terrance Williams (Baylor) / Eddie Lacy (Bama) / Jonathan Cyprien (FAU).

3) Vance McDonald (Rice) / Sio Moore (UConn)

Le'Veon Bell (Mich St) / Montee Ball (Wisc) / Stepfan Taylor (Stanford) / Marcus Lattimore (South Carolina) / Da'Rick Rogers (Tenn something) / TJ McDonald (USC) / Phillip Thomas (Fresno St) / David Amerson (NC State) / DJ Fluker (Bama)

4) Barrett Jones (Alabama) / Terry Hawthorne (Illinois)

(Best Quarterback Available) / John Jenkins (Georgia) / Brandon Williams (Missouri Southern St) / Jesse Williams (Bama) / Kwame Geathers (Georgia) / DJ Swearinger (South Carolina) / Robert Lester (Bama) / Duke Williams (Nevada) / Shawn Williams (Georgia) / Bacarri Rambo (Georgia) / Tony Jefferson (Oklahoma) / Niko Johnson (Bama)

5) Stephfon Jefferson (Nevada) / Kwame Geathers (Georgia)

Mike Gilleslee (Florida) / Joseph Randle (Oklahoma St) / Christine Michael (Texas A&M) / Knile Davis (Arkansas) / Spencer Ware (LSU) / Stedman Bailey (WVU) / Xavier Nixon (Florida) / Ricky Wagner (Wisconsin) / Oday Aboushi (UVA)

6) Sean Renfree (Duke) / Denard Robinson (Michigan)

Renfree would make a great backup QB. (Concur... in 7th Round) / (Best OL Available) / Joseph Fauria (UCLA) / Marcus Davis (VPI) Brad Wing (LSU)

7) Ryan Allen (Louisiana Tech) / Alex Dunnachie (Hawaii)

Ray Ray Armstrong (ex-Miami) / Jahleel Addae (Central Michigan) / Chris Faulk (LSU) / Alex Hurst (LSU) / Joe Madsen (WVU) / Sean Renfree (Duke)
