there is nothing to talk about, TO is injured and the steelers are 0-2 in the preseason.
SOMETHING NEEDS TO HAPPEN!

Remember back when the preseason was 6 games long? Imagine how painful that would be right now.

Shouldn't there be some scandal in the Raider's camp by now?

Steelers started 1976 1-4 and ended up running off nine straight wins to go to the AFC Championship!!

It seems to me that when you are returning a pretty solid team from last year, camp isn't quite as fun to follow. There isn't much of the excitment you get seeing who might fill in last year's holes because there aren't many. If the spots are already filled the way you want them on the first day, then the only news is often about injuries. And thats always a bummer to be focused on. But then the injuries do lead to some drama on who is gonna fill the spot... I'd be happy to do without that though.

Not with Shell back at the helm!

My boys are all working hard, and buying into Art's vision. Well, with the exception of one... Jerry Pouter. I can't wait to get rid of his worthless ass!:dang:

What's his status (Porter)? Last I heard he was injured...

I am glad to hear that Shell is effectively leading the team. I remember when he was rehired that some people were concerned that he may have been out of the game too long to gain the repsect of and control of his team. Sounds like he is off to a good start.

What are your expectations for the Raiders this year? You think they have a chance to take one at Qwest Field in November? (I'm not trolling for a pissing match about that game. Yet....:blurp: Just curious about where your team is at)

Porter is all about Porter. He hates authority. He and Shell had a tiff early on and Shell could be heard lambasting him in a rather loud voice, then he was thrown out of Shell's office. Porter has publicly demanded to be traded. Porter was also in Gruden's dog house... I see a pattern here.

Realistically, I see the Raiders going 8-8. I would be very happy with that for now. It would be much needed improvement over the last three years. Art seems to have gotten the players on the same page and thinking like Raiders. Warren Sapp and Randy Moss are ecstatic with the way Shell is running this team and the respect that he commands.

I don't look for a win at Qwest Field but, you never know. The Hawks are a very good team right now. We will be an improved team this year, I have no doubt but, we are very young, and it is going to take some time for this team to become a cohesive unit... especially the O line. I look for the Raiders to contend in 07. I think most intelligent Raider fans realize we aren't going to the playoffs this year... unless we get some breaks and a few games fall our way.

The games that I personally think we can't win are: the Steelers, Hawks, Bronkos. I think we will split with the Chargers. The bengals are one of those games that I just don't have a guess at either way.

To summarize, I think the Raiders will see marked improvement over the last three years and finish at .500.

I found the stat very interesting 18 of the 22 starters are draft picks.

LOL! And no Ravens have been jailed for dealing the doo or sharpening knives in someone's ribs. :blurp: Yep - sure is slow around the NFL these days.
