I'm thinking it's going to be CB or ILB in R1, and then ILB or CB in R2.

If they stick to their rotation , it's Offense turn in the 1st round this year

But I agree I think ILB has to be in the 1st 2 rounds ... CJ Mosely is a perfect 3 down LB ... and Andrew Jackson is a perfect Thumper , the guys like 6-1 260lbs , but all depends if he can move well or not

Here a few CB ...

Aaron Colvin

Bradley Roby

Ifo Ekpre-Olomu

I just can't wait for Football

There's also the CB tandem from Florida. (There is going to be a plethora of CBs in next year's draft.)

I'd go Mosley at 32 (although, I doubt that he drops that far)... and then one of the Florida CBs at 64.

As a homer pick I'd love us to pick Antone Exum in the first or second. Might be able to get him in the second or third since he's coming off an ACL tear, but he was considered one of the best DB's prior to tearing it this offseason; if he comes back strong he might jump into the first though. Dude is a big, physical, man-to-man corner with a combination of class, confidence, and swag in the mold of Ike Taylor. Would be a vocal leader on defense (something we're lacking) and could be either a safety or a corner (he switched to corner last year after 2 years at safety with fantastic results).

Also, I gotta say that Mike Evans of TAMU would look REAL nice in a Steelers uniform. Exactly what we need, a huge, physical target who can go up and out-muscle the defensive player and bring down a pass. Not to mention he's used to catching passes from a QB who improvises.

With the way we are going I'd say Jake Matthews is very much achievable. Followed by a quality DB and WR in the second and third.

There is no way I'm wasting another pick on Oline or Dline ... They need playmakers

I would take Anthony Barr over clowney , he fits better in this scheme

But I want playmakers

Sammy Watkins or maquis lee in round 1
Deanthony Thomas in round 2

Offense needs top quality weapons

I'd take a pick on Thomas but it depends who is there , if a top DB has fallen id rather go in that direction.

Clowney is more of a risk than people think, questionable work habits this season and a lack of off season conditioning smacks of Unprofessionalism. At a time when locker room leaders are needed I don't think this is a good idea irrespective of how naturally talented he is.

This team needs an X-factor, or 5. We spent two years drafting OLinemen early and it's the reason we suck now. I'm not willing to take another chance even if Jake Matthews is a better prospect than any of the guys we drafted. The OLine is what it is, Ben is who he is and he's going to deal with it. They either get better or we find better guys off the street, but I don't want so see us waste a top 5 pick on an OLineman to have him not pan out, AGAIN.

And I don't think we're going to have to worry about guys "falling" this year to us.

Give me:

Teddy Bridgewater
Tajh Boyd
Jadeveon Clowney
Sammy Watkins
Mike Evans
Anthony Barr
Marquise Lee

in that order.

This game is won in the trenches and we are 0-4 because we cannot protect our quarterback and our defensive lineman are not worthy of being chipped or double teamed and our linebackers are having to do it the hard way. We drafted a bunch of players that don't fit our scheme especially our 5 techniques. We have 3-4 linebackers and 4-3 lineman. I say first round a true LT or a true 3-4 NT. We need anchors for both lines and I strongly believe those 2 positions are the difference between 0-4 and 4-0 for the Steelers this year.
