looks like Killer broke the rep bank with his recent tear of accurately picking finishing positions. since the rep has been scrapped it looks like i will have to send out cash prizes to anyone who makes a correct pick. in reality it looks like were picking for bragging rights alone.

other than the superspeedways, the bristol night race is probably the best/ most exciting race of the year. very difficult to pick against the blue duce. he almost seems a shoe in to win but unfortunately there are several drivers who will be more than willing to give him the boot for a win. unless he has a sizeable lead he will not win. this is a race to watch the favorites. jeff has shown he will wreck anybody but his teammates. stewart will wreck anybody, and kenseth owes a few. if jr. and edwards are up front there could be an "accident". my sleeper /darkhorses is bobby labonte. he has a top 10 starting spot and has done well in the past. denny hamlin could have a great run, and ryan newman has officially fallen into sleeper category. where he used to be a favorite at just about every track, now he is automatically written off.

1) kurt busch
2) matt kenseth
3) jeff burton
4) tony stewart
5) jeff gordon
6) kevin harvick
7) jimmie johnson

this is really a crapshoot of favorites and hard to pick just one with any confidence. thats what makes bristol great is the unpredictability. busch should win. kenseth probably will win. considering the luck factor this year i wont be suprised to see the #2 cut a tire, get lapped and then wreck.

Oh sure...change the game after I win....now I know how Matt felt.

Without karma points...what's the use of living?

You're right, this will be a crapshoot.....I'm sticking with luck.

1 Matt (bumps Kurt outta the way in the final 5 laps)
2 Jeff Burton
3 Tony Stewart
4 Denny Hamlin
5 Happy Harvick

All this winning is getting me pumped up for the Chase....and if I'm excited, I can imagine how the team must feel.

Go get em Matt!!!

Good grief!!! My two favorites are starting 39th and 40th and we all know what passing is like at Bristol.... But they will probably be playing their own little bumper car war back there.....

That said, I would love to see either/or both of them in the top five.... But realistically - - - probably not....

1. Tony Stewart
2. Jeff Gordon
3. Matt Kenseth
4. Kurt Busch
5. Jeff Burton

on a good note i pickd kenseth for the 2nd week in a row for the fantasy league and 3 times ive started him hes finished 2nd, and won twice. ive got 5-6 more kenseth starts. hes the only one i dont jinx by using. great win. i hope the cup comes down to him and jr. just like the good ol busch days

That's 3 wins in 7 days....Matt is the one on a roll....I'm just along for the ride.

Now where's my prize?

im liking the chase format more and more. without it it would pretty much be the jimmie and matt show with 13 races to go.

There's still a chance for Kasey to get in...speaking of which...

Didja see the "breaking news" story about Roush telling Mark Martin to take a hike?

Mark wants to race the #6 part-time next year and the Roush Prez told him to bug off.

They interviewed Jack and Mark and neither one had been told...until the cameras were rolling. It had them both flustered. Way to go SPEED.

Jimmy Spencer held up a sign for Mark to read..."88".
