John Kuhn (http://www.nfl.com/player/johnkuhn/2506147/profile) -- FB, 2007-12
Kuhn emerged from D-II Shippensburg to become an on-field contributor and ultimately a cult hero for the immense fanbase of one of the NFL's premier franchises. Unfortunately, this sort of sentimentality lends itself to overvaluing a player's worth. In the NFL Network's "Top 100 Players of 2012" countdown, Kuhn checked in at No. 92 (eight spots ahead of Tennessee Titans (http://www.nfl.com/teams/tennesseetitans/profile?team=TEN) running back Chris Johnson (http://www.nfl.com/player/chrisjohnson/262/profile) and two spots ahead of Seattle Seahawks (http://www.nfl.com/teams/seattleseahawks/profile?team=SEA) back Marshawn Lynch (http://www.nfl.com/player/marshawnlynch/2495663/profile)). That placement drew the ire of some experts (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d828c37f2/article/top-100-surprises-chris-johnson-john-kuhn-tim-tebow), especially considering how fullbacks are nearly extinct in the NFL. In a Packers (http://www.nfl.com/teams/greenbaypackers/profile?team=GB) offense loaded with explosive talent, Kuhn's touches take away from more capable players.

I'd always chuckle to myself whenever he would get the ball and the crowd yells "KUUUUHHHHHNNNN!" because it sounds just like something that would be pretty horrible for a stadium full of people to yell.
