Series finale tonight. :frown:

Predictions on what's going to happen?

Swearengen receiving his reinforcements from Hawk Eye with Wu on speed dial should be interesting.

Alma to make a deal but with who? Hearst? Al? Seth?

Bad move 203. IMO, this season was the best season. Are you getting it back in time for "The Sopranos"?

If you liked Casino and Goodfellas I got some good news for you. I posted this some time ago, but DeNiro is coming out with another mafia movie. It's called "The Winter of Frankie Machine".

Not much info, but worth looking at if your interested...http://www.movieweb.com/news/11/9911.php

Not a bad finale, I just thought that the person that would be killed was either Hurst or Bullock. Looks like Leon will no longer need dope to get through the day. I also loved the job (acting) that E.B. brought to the table. When all was said and done, only a poor W hore was put on ice. Should set up a pretty good season next year.

Even though there won't be a season four, they will have 4 hours to wrap the series up for good (two 2-hour episodes). Should be interesting to see how they end it all.

Either I was way out of the loop or I just don't ever remember anyone saying that this is the last season. I just serched it and found out there was a fight between HBO and the producers.

I don't understand how HBO finds these gems and screws them up somehow.

Don't look good for HBO, IMO!

I also read that the two hour episodes are'nt for sure either? WTF....They can not end this show like that!

Hurst cant be iced as you put it. If you recall he told the newspaper guy maybe I will open my own paper to print my own lies. Well he goes on to open his paper then many years later his great great granddaughter Patty Hurst get kidnaped.

Anyway most of the folks in the show are real folks who lived in deadwood however many years ago so this all is based on facts. The real Al was one bad mother in real life as well as in this show.

As bad as I wanted Hurst to die I knew he would not due to history.

Sorry if I ruined it

Well, being that Seth Bullock died of old age and George Hearst went on to become a US Senator, I doubt they would have been killed off on the show!! :busted:

I thought it was great and understated. I read they intentionally left some deadends they will be able to clean up with the two, two-hour movies.

I know the Gem Saloon burns down and Al Swearingen dies as a poor bum in real life.

While I did not expect Hearst or Bullock to be killed for historical accuracy purposes, I was sort of expecting a good causeway brawl of some sort. Eitherway, excellent season overall. It was refreshing to watch after my Soprano let down.
