Looks like the Steeler's F.O. made the right choice. Sweet Christ did he eat B.J. Raji?

looks like he's ready to compete with blowjob raji for starting nose tackle

Someone continually bashed myself and others for agreeing with Steelers decision to choose Bell over Lacy on draft day. Wonder what he thinks now?

Well, since he may or may not have already eaten him, he's definitely got a shot. :chuckle:

Why? Dwyer could have used a spotter at the Golden Corral. :sofunny:

Wow! That boy didn't miss any meals. He has a Dwyeresque look to him.

Our boy Dwyer is supposedly down 25-35 lbs. Lacy looks like a fat slob. This is like one of those stupid movies where someone makes a fucking wish blowing out candles on a cake and 2 people switch bodies....

Holy Shite.

Looks like he spent the summer at camp Woodley.

I would give Buddha Bus's left nut for a chance to play in the NFL.

It amazes me how some people take opportunites like this for granted.

Man that makes me glad we have Bell. Lacy was already a big back to begin with IIRC. Looks easily 250-260 in that second photo. I like many of you don't get these guys. You're getting paid millions to pay the game you've dreamed of playing and you show up out of shape? And with Lacy it's even more pathetic since it's not like he's a guaranteed starter either.

It sounds like both Woodley and Dwyer have actually showed up to camp in shape, or at least in better shape. I'm pulling for both of them to prove us wrong in concern to their weight and conditioning.

Yeah I had read that Dwyer dropped something like 30lbs. I'm just giving them crap mainly. Redman lost weight too in an effort to get faster. Hopefully all this d#$@ measuring nets us a pretty good running game.

i dont get how you come in that out of shape to your FIRST training camp especially when that was a knock on you before, and it wasnt like you were first round pick.. I was glad we passed on him. Jon Franklin will end up being the guy there. packers got a good deal with him in round 4.
what a goof lacy is, not even the only back drafted by your team

How am I getting mentioned in this thread? What the hell did I do now?

Bell ran for over 1700 yards! I had to be doing something right. I got him this far didn't I?

He just looks like a badass!

hard to imagine he's 240, he even looks like his frame could fit more weight (looks a little thin)

His playing weight at Michigan St. was 240-245, but not because he is undisciplined. He played at that weight to handle the heavy load he was asked to carry. He sculpts his body to be the perfect tool for the job at hand. Sounds a little different than another running back on the roster that will remain nameless, doesn't it?:chuckle:

He looked fine at that weight, and carried it well. He was still elusive and quick, but I can't wait to see him in pads at 230.
