8 carries for negative 5 yards! Those of you angry that the Steelers didn't draft him should really settle down. I like Bell over Lacy in every aspect. He was a tough runner with a lot of action in College. He'll heal up and be a big factor in our rushing game!

he had one good run called back

then Eddie Lacy looking like a dog against Seattle - 3 straight rushes 0 yds, 0 yrds, 0 yrds

Lacy will not be a starter in GB anytime soon and he was not drafted to be. They have two other backs to run it and didn't draft Lacy to start immediately, if ever. Lacy also played against Sea 1st string D quite a bit. Sea's D is pretty damn good against the run.

So, I wouldn't read too much into this effort.

Lacy- In the backfield
Bell- on the sideline

Lacy would have had better stats sitting on the sideline.

With that logic, Eddie Lacy is automatically better than any Running Back who's been injured or inactive for a period of time. Injuries happen.

I think us watching you make the dumbest comparison on this site and then stand by said stupid comparison is enough for us.

Anyone have a list of players who've been injuries once early in their career and had productive careers?

I think you are overreacting. Bell is an outstanding athlete, and injuries happen in the NFL. For all we know Gilbert probably stepped on the poor guy. :sofunny:

Ask DeCastro how that feels.
