Salary Cap (Over the Cap)

If this is the wrong place for this please move and I am sorry., also I am not great at inserting links so if anyone that knows how please do so. Now I came across a site called "Over the cap" that gives some insight to each teams salary cap. They also have a salary cap Calculator that show how much can be trimmed by player cuts. Just thought this would be something that might interest others and if it has been brought up before once again I apologize. It is overthecap.com

Click on the box at the top of your screen that contains the text http://www.overthecap.com, right-click and select "copy". Then on steelersfever.com create your new post and click what looks like a green sphere with 3 chain links underneath it. Then, right-click and select paste in the window that opens.

that salary cap calculator is pretty awesome.

If I'm reading it right, cutting him now does nothing but make us all happy. 2015 is the year to cut him and unless he turns it on in 2016 I'd be shocked if he was still on the roster.

I thought the same thing actually. It's hard to say if there isn't more to it, but I think you're right. The only plus side I see to it is that if we cut him now, we get him off the books faster.

I think cutting Woodley after June 1st will allow us to free up some cap space for next season.

Cutting Levi Brown would be MUCH better, since he's going to take money we don't have.

I agree, there's no good reason for Levi Brown to make it through the cuts. Woodley though is still debatable in my opinion.

I saw on the link, that cutting Foote will also save us over a million. That might end up happening, unless they think he'll be able to keep his spot and really help the team. I'm hoping thought that the Steelers see enough in Williams, Spence, and Garvin to move on.
