A couple of issues...

1) What's with Polamalu and those missed tackles? He seems to be throwing himself at ballcarriers and trying to bowl them over, not using his arms and wrapping them up. And he's always had an issue with overpursuit, but it's been mitigated by good instincts. More and more he's getting fooled by screens and misdirection plays.

2) Where's the pass protection? There isn't a quarterback alive who can look good if the routes don't have time to develop before the defense is in his face. Run blocking is only half the game.

3) Jeez, where's the defense on 3rd down? All props to the Chargers, but you gotta step up and grab one of those. Everyone knows the ball is going into the air on 3rd and 11. Not acceptable.

Re: A couple of issues...

troy is still playing with one arm, he is not 100% healthy yet. the offensive line is a pretty pathetic at pass blocking right now. ben is not the same qb he was before the accident. i don't know if he'll ever be the same. the secondary scares me. our corners can not cover why are we giving cushions that big. escpecially on mcardell and parker. they don't scare you like other do. we always seem to stop steam s on 1st and 2nd but end up giving up huge plays on 3rd down its llike we lose our focus. we need to start getting to the qb with out blitzing, and right now i don't think we can.
