Re: Top 100 Prospects
7 Ahmad Brooks Jr ILB Virginia
I've seen this kid play a few high school games for state and regional champion Hylton HS in No. Va. a few years back. He played running back in HS and it was pretty much a TD or long run every time he touched the ball. I believe he's one of the favorites for the Butkus Award this year. |
Re: Top 100 Prospects
smh @ them rankin reggie mcneal ahead of vince young
|
Re: Top 100 Prospects
I wouldn't draft either one of them...can you say "Kordell Stewart"?
|
Re: Top 100 Prospects
vince young won't be a great qb in the league but he probably won't be as hard headed as kordell and might accept the change to wr. i'd draft him in a second if he'd say he wouldn't mind being moved to a wr

Re: Top 100 Prospects
You cant say Vince Young wont be a good Qb in the NFL. He has most of the stuff required to be one the only thing you could question is his decision making ability. He has the arm and hes pretty accurate and he can easily improve in this by the time he goes into the draft. If Vick can make it Vince could make it the only difference between the two when Vick was in college is .22 seconds. They both have good arm strength but both arent that accurate but the ability to create is what makes a good QB. Vince has showed he can create at the college level and do it well he just has to step up his decision making. Id draft him as a QB in the first or second round probably late but it would be as a QB. If he stays another year I would say hed go top ten in the first round. Basically its a guessing game you could be right or i could but i hate when ppl talk down and dont back up the claims as to why.

Re: Top 100 Prospects
i ain't talkin down on vince i'm a ut fan, he's my favorite player until he gets drafted by a team i hate, i'm just sayin with his athletic ability he doesn't need to be a qb to be a success in the nfl and he might be more suited at wr if he comes out this year but if he's smart he'd stay his last year and improve as much as he can because he is way to talented not to be in the nfl whether it's at qb or wr..... hook em'
nice name by the way |
Re: Top 100 Prospects
Yeah i know its a wonderful name. My question is he has what he needs to become a QB in the NFL so why in the hell would you wanna convert him to a WR? Cause hes 6'5 and has 4.5 speed? Hes gonna go through his whole college time as a QB and hes gonna be used to playin one. Theres no reason to convert him unless he doesnt improve on his decision making ability but whos to say he can catch and run clean routes. Point is ppl are riding off all of his talent just cause he makes bad decisions and isnt Manning with the accuracy but he can and will improve on all of this with time. Hes already improved by leaps and bounds since last year with his passing

Re: Top 100 Prospects
well he did show he can catch a deep pass last year, and he don't need to be that good at routes look at moss just run him striaght and let him jump for the ball. i know he has what it takes to be a very good qb but if he doesn't pan out he can also try to convert as a wr casue of his athleticism. and he could've had better passing numbers last year if sweed wasn't such a waterhead because he dropped passes bevo could've caught  he just needs to stay one more year to hopefully work on his throwing mechanics and he could very well be a top 20 qb but right now he's probably a late first rounder early second project. also this is all my own opinion i watch him play ever saturday and i'm just saying what i see from him
|
Re: Top 100 Prospects
Yeah i know its an opinion but i see nothing from him that makes me believe hes better at WR then QB. Almost every Qb who gets drafted is a project very few come in chunkin TD's left and right. I just dont see why ppl say stuff like he should be converted to a WR when hes becoming a good QB
