Thread deletions
 

I see that a lot of threads and individual replies have been deleted mysteriously. Comments on how people felt about one person being a mod, etc. Masking the boards problems doesn't solve anything. And it gives a false sense to how people feel about certain issues................

Example:

I have repeatably mentioned that Homo.com should be deleted from Nigels signature. And that he should be repremanded for this. But all my viewpoints on this disappear. I am sure Tony has to be tired of being flamed...........

hmmm. i havent noticed that EVEN MORE posts have been erased. im sure litp is taking the michael irvin defense on this: "it was/is a joke", even though it may be a joke that only "Bean" could comprehend.

i guess if my name were actually tony or if i was in love with a feminine qb like brady i might be a little offended, but if personal attacks are allowed in a sig i guess homophobia and racial satire is equally acceptable.

i am intrigued by the facination with tony romo though. it must be an insecurity issue about the new golden boy on the block.

i see litp working though. :coffee: if its good with the boards admin its good with me.

Ok, ill address this issue here seeing as it has resurfaced in its very own thread.

Firstly, http://www.tonyhomo.com/ is a genuine website.

A number of people attempted to make you aware of this fact, Slash, but it doesn't appear to be sinking in.

Its a ficticious blog supposedly written by Drew Bledsoe that give us 'his take' on Tony Romo's rise to fame.

A few people have PM'ed to say they enjoyed the web site - personally, I find it amusing and its actually supposed to be pro-Romo rather than the opposite (if you understand satire).

It honestly never even occured to me that 'Tony Hipchest' would take offense - as you can see - he hasn't.

Slash, if you have a problem like this in the future - you should try contacting me directly rather than introduce this stuff into random football related threads.

If that doesn't work then we have two other Mods working here who would be more than happy to address this, or any other issue.

I hope this matter is resolved.

I have actually went to this site myself. It's actually quite funny. It basically mocks Romo, T.O, Parcells and Bleadsoe. I recomend all to check it out

we remove threads/posts because we don't want to give guests who might want to register and post here a bad idea about our site. Tony Homo as LITP mentioned is Tony ROMO not a flame at Tony Hipchest.

OK I stand corrected on the homo thing. And I never saw where someone corrected it Nigel or obviously I wouldn't have posted this. :)

And will check the site out. As far as deleting things I stand by my opinion.
