FRANCO HARRIS IN MEXICO
 

Hi every one.. i wanted to post this before.. but ai just cudn't get the pictures until now..

Despite the ups and downs of this season... ive been enjoying every minute of
the last steelers games... since the painfull lose agains the revens..until this
convincing victory agains Carolina... and in the meanwhile... I have the opportunity
to meet Franco Harris, who recently (december 7th) came to Mexico City to an Autographs session in a local Sport store... That was amazing... Hundreds of steelers fans, youngs boys and girls and adults that came with their sons and wifes... wearing steelers jerseys, jackets, hats and t shirts... wants to show how proud this fans can be... Franco say in an interview... that he was surprise by the mexican welcome... He was always samiling and joking...

Even a Cowboys Fan came and meet with Franco for an autograph.... that was funny... cause, everybody booed this guy... and suddenly Harris took a terrible towell and put around the neck?s cowboy fan... and smiling.. say somethnig like u better change to a better team... I have to LIE in my work to go out early and go
to meet Franco... my wife was there early and she was in the tail wating for me...
And now a got something that i could never imagine i could have.... a mini helmet and a Photograph signed....WOW!.... this are now part of my.. modest.. but very loved steelers

What a great bunch of pics, and event...I've only met 2 STEELERS where I work...Franco and Dermonti Dawson...

And both were very cool!

Great thread, thanks for sharing the photos.

I met franco once back in the late 70's or early 80's in a bar in Pittsburgh called Alexander Graham Bells!

Awesome!! I think that's fantastic that Franco went to Mexico and there were so many fans!!! Is that your little boy with you?? Who ever he is....he's adorable!!!
