So Staley will miss probally the first two weeks.We all know The Bus will have that engine revved...lets hope for a repeat of last year's Jerome Bettis.

i know this is a bad thing for the team ,but iam kinda happy at the same time,it lets the coachs look at willie a little more, even noah has been turning heads at camp.plus bettis can still get the job done.

Makes not drafting a decent running back this year even more of a glaring oversight. Do you really think that a running attack such as Pittsburgh's should be anchored by Willie Parker and Noah Herron? The Bus is done after this year. Draft an RB. We should have taken a flier on Kay-Jay Harris of West Virginia in the 7th round when we had the chance.

I questioned us not taking a RB in this year's draft too. But we also have Haynes too, who if he can stay healthy is pretty decent. Therein lies the problem, staying healthy. UGH !

Did anyone else hear that we signed Chad Scott today? It kinda shocked me when I first heard it....

Chad Scott rookie RB from UNC :laughing: he was singed today to fill in at camp while Duce is out. He is gonna wear number 30 too.

Scott (5-9, 200) was an undrafted free agent who originally signed with the Cleveland Browns before being released last week. He spent the past two years at North Carolina where he led the team in rushing his senior year, earning honorable mention All-ACC. Prior to North Carolina, Scott played his first seasons at Kentucky and was named third-team freshman All-America by The Sporting News.

Same here BB2W. I saw the thread in the forum labeled Steelers signed Chad Scott. It threw me off a little bit lol

I dont think its was a bad thing they didn't draft a RB high....The draft was so loaded with RB's Noah was a real steal in the 7th round...any other draft classes he might have gone early on the second day...we all know what the Bus and Deuce can do so now will get 2 see what the young guys can do...just like last year when Tommy got hurt it gave Ben a chance 2 shine...as for Scott i saw him tear up a highly talented Miami defense when nobody else on his team did anything
