to change our little "one for the thumb" saying
My dad was on here the other day just looking and he brought up the fact that Steelers fans have been saying that since 1980 and we have yet to get it. Maybe it is a jinx, who knows...my dad and I are very superstitious!
What do you guys think? Any ideas for something new? :)

I agree "one for the thumb" seems to indicate that these players have 4 other super bowl rings. When in fact there hasn't been a player on the roster who has played on the super bowl teams in a long time.

With the way the Steelers are so steeped in tradition, the one for the thumb battle cry will always be around, especially w/ the diehards who've been watching the black n gold since before the 70's.

Detroit or Bust sounds great to me !!! or how about.. In the infamous words of Greg Lloyd after we beat the Colts to advance to the Super Bowl against the Cowboys; " Now lets go out and win the F*ckin Super Bowl !!!! "
