Football Buddy

Hi

I'm looking for a friend who would be happy to talk football, either by email weekly, by messenger or would be happy to talk by phone - I am happy to be the one phoning - preferably someone prepared to chat about all fantasy and real Football. I live in England.

If anyone can suggest url's for listening to Steeler games that would be great, I had Field Pass last year, is there a better alternative out there?

Can anyone recommend a quality magazine that I can subscribe to, ESPN Insider is $106 for the year, but I am only really interested in Football, sorry but baseball bores me and basketball puts me to sleep, as for ice hockey............lets not even go there

Overall, I like nothing better than to be able to sit up and watch the Back'n'Gold - albeit at 2 in the morning - with a few cold ones to ease the suspense :blurp: as the Steelers churn out a victory :bouncy:

Regards
Mark

Football Digest is an excellent magazine to subscribe to...all it talks about is Pro and College ball...

Steelers digest is the best way to get Steelers info and also Football digest is good as well..and of course being here on SF is too. Other than that, if you wanna chat via email or instant messenger, you can add me to your list..Im usually available EST anytime after 8pm and since Im a night owl, Im always up late :D

Since you have internet access though, all the info you need can be found online, between KFFL, NFL.com, SteelersFever, Yahoo sports, msn sports & fox sports net, the sporting news, etc. You have lots of choices.

You should have no trouble subscribing to both online...but, if you are like me and like to have the tangible paper in your hands, it's more likely that Football Digest will be available via mail...however, considering your lack of proximity to the source, you run the risk of receiving the magazine after the upcoming games they discuss have already occurred...

My best advice as one football fan to another? Move to the States dude!
