Sunday Ticket Question

So as we all know the season starts this sunday  :jammin: :chicken:, and I know directv here in Panama may be different than in America, but I just want to know how much you guys pay for the sunday ticket package, cause here we are 6 day till the start of the season and they have not given a price.

This is my first year with directv and I'm spending a lot of my saved money on this, so I don't want to pay it all at once before knowing the price of the package. Thanks :tt02:

Re: Sunday Ticket Question

I think I paid $229.
I'm on auto renew, so its $20 cheaper the the early bird offer.

did you check the DirectTV site? They've got a lot of info about the various packages and pricing.

Yes I did the same thing but of course it is extra if you want the hi def.
I think if you just got directv there are incentive packages that they give you, once you agree to purchase nfl ticket they knock a big chunk out of your regular bill for the first 6 months.

If you talk nice enough to them they'll through in the hd super fan for free.

Anyways they just had a special on if you ordered ST you get super fan free, you might mention that to them. And if they ask you if you received an e-mail for it just say YES I DID. And bingo. :sofunny:

Agreed about never paying list price to DirecTV for anything - if they will not give you "SuperFan" (aka the SundayTicket HD package) for free you can talk them into giving you some sort of "customer loyalty" rebate to cover the HD package cost if you are not a new subscriber.

I also wound up paying $229 for this season, the returning customer rate.

Which is $20 more than last year.......for fewer games !!!

Because NFLN is broadcasting a handful of games that could have been on Sunday Ticket.

I just hope I can get my money's worth this time, because last year I had to go out of town to work from Mid October thru February and got almost no use from ST at all !!

In addition to the $209, I wound up spending about $30 bucks each Sunday at Bailey's in Richmond VA.

But at least I got to watch with the Central VA Browns Backers !!

Did you know that the WorldWide Browns Backers are the largest fan organization on earth ??

........now you do !!

I know the feeling. I have done the same type of things.

I know a lot of you have heard me complain about this before... but I have to TIVO every Sunday, then hope it was done right when I get home!

Watching the games on a computer monitor is not the best option, but If you have the Superfan HD package DirecTV now allows you to receive the games online if you are on the road and away from your dish..
