Eli Manning done for year?
The week 1 carnage just goes on and on - maybe it just seems worse than usual?
I thought Manning looked pretty good against the Cowboys - his 1 INT was unlucky - Plax fell over when trying to turn back to the ball. Quote:

the guys on "1st and 10", particularly that jackass. skip bayless, just shredded eli for pulling himself out of the game . basicly calling him a puss with no heart. if it turns out to be more than just a bruise....they got some serious crow to chow on.

Re: Eli Manning done for year?
Parcells said watch what the Giants do to replace Eli - if they stick with Hasselbeck or that Pillsbury Dough Boy who is their #3 QB they will think Manning is back by early October. If they try to get one of Tampa's 18 QBs or bring in Leftwich they will indicate Manning may be gone much longer. Consensus seems to be he misses a month.
What a horrible day for New York fans - both teams lose to the big division rival and both starting QBs go down. Of course unlike what happened in Buffalo these injuries heal - helps to keep it in perspective. |

Could this be Jared Lorenzen's chance to finally see the field?

Re: Eli Manning done for year?
ive heard absolutely nothing to suggest hes out for the year. that speculation is definitely some belichickian subterfuge.
lemme guess.... the uncited source is the rumor mill at PFT? eli got rolled up pretty good and bayless is too much of a punk to eat some crow. |
Re: Eli Manning done for year?
I think I heard on Espn he will be out a month, but that could be a rumor too....
