the bills are a fine franchise who have provided me with tons (and years) of football enjoyment. even though the steelers face them this week, i will be rooting for 1 bill for sure.

a moment of silence in heinze field before the game would be a great gesture.

Oh damn...my enthusiasm for next Sunday's game is dampened. Seeing a player get hurt like that takes a lot out of you. Football is fun, but it's also a game. A pretty rough game. This is a human being's life we're talking about.

I wish him the best of luck. Never mind being able to play football... I hope and pray he can regain his life. This kind of thing always puts a damper on things, no matter who you root for. Get well Kevin... NFL fans across the league are praying for you.

Thanks Indy. My heart breaks for this young man but the Lord works in mysterious ways. I pray that he leans on his faith and doesn't give up hope that he will come through this and walk again someday. When I heard the prognosis, I immediately thought of Dennis Byrd.

I will definitely keep Kevin and his family in my daily prayers and offer my well wishes and support via the link you provided.
