Steelers vs Bills

Hi Steelpeople,

Its my first time posting a thread so bare with me if it isn't so good.:smile

Okay on sunday our beloved Steelers will face the Bills. I'm almost sure we will win Big B and everyone play as they did against the Browns, Bills are just coming with close loss to Broncos, so they are properly coming a big wish to win. I don't think we will have any problems against them.

What i really would like to know, is if anyone of you can come up with things that would give as problems on sunday:smile:

Go Steelers!:tt02:

The Browns are the Browns. The Bills will pose a tougher challenge. Look out for the Bills O.

The Steelers learned and should know from last years Raider debacle that you should never take an opponent lightly. Any Given Sunday.

Turnovers. I think the Browns for instance, won every game last season where they had fewer turnovers than their opponent.

shutting down lee evans will be the key to victory other than not turning the ball over. we cant have any 80 yard touchdowns.

:tt03:Hi fellow Steeler fans and greetings from Bonnie Scotland, i think the key to the game is to stop the run, we have the capability of scoring against anyone with Willie, Hines and Big Ben at the helm. if the defence can step up like we did against the "Clowns" then we should be able to take down the Bills. Our special teams are looking good and against the "Clowns" managed to force pressure into the backfield, i say bring it on we are capable of taking care of business against anyone! BELIEVE PEOPLE!!!!!
WE ARE THE STEELERS !!!!!
HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! : ::tt03::tt03:

Re: Steelers vs Bills

all i know is it is going to be a very emotional game for the bills after everitt

Good situation
- Bills are worn out from last minute lost to broncos and everitt and media coverage
Bad Sitution
-Bills rally around Everitt and play very well and beat steelers

Emotion can also lead to mental errors and breakdowns at time as well. I certainly feel horrible for Everett, but this could work against the Bills just as much as it could play in there favor.

I think we need to play solid, fundamental, Steeler football - smart and physical.

I think Coach Tomlin will have the team ready and will avoid what some would see as a trap game. Solid preparation seems to be a hallmark of Coach Tomlin and I think that's a big positive for a team that lacked focus last year.

One think I liked in the preseason and was glad to see in the opener was the number of fumbles we are forcing. Anything we can do to help win the turnover battle is key. Last season, turnovers were the difference between the playoffs and 8-8 so I'm glad to see that as a point of emphasis this season.

I think the Bills are going to come into this game on a surge of emotion and give the Steelers a good effort. While Lee Evans is a threat, don't discount rookie RB Marshawn Lynch - he's the real deal and though the Steelers are quite formidable against the run, this kid is extremely quick, elusive and can break a hole faster than you can say "the Bungles suck". The Bills' D isn't all that bad either.

I see the Steelers winning this one, though - 24-13. :tt02:

Oh and welcome TS43 and Bonnie!:tt02::wave:
