Training Camp Leftovers
I just returned from playing poker in the Rooney Hall conference room here at Saint Vincent. At one point of the game I turned around and saw the dry erase board covered with a chart.
The room is seldom used and after looking at it for a while and realized it was left on there after a RBs meeting weeks ago before training camp let out. It looks like a post practice meeting. It had RBs written in the top left corner and the following stats. I snapped a photo of it with my camera phone. # Assignment Technique 44 100 100 35 100 67 33 90 70 42 89 89 34 98 98 38 100 100 41 60 53 (kind of smeared but pretty clear) 30 (?)58 (smeared out) To the right of that was some more numbers but they weren't identified as anything. Plus half of them were smeared out. I though it was kind of cool and figured why not post it. From this day, at least, we can conclude that A.) Willie did not participate B.) Davenport was tearing it up C.) Davis' technique (running I'd imagine) was much better than Kreider's on this day. Both had an assignment rating of 100, but Davis' scored a 100 on technique to Danno's 67. D.) Russell had a bad day. E.) Kuhn is a B student F.) Verron looked solid, but I guess was a casualty of the cap in the end. G.) Barlow was probably looking too mediocre to keep over two young and talented backs. |

That is awesome. Thanks for sharing. That is a cool thing to have seen.

Re: Training Camp Leftovers
The more I look at it the more I think its a blocking drill.

Re: Training Camp Leftovers
That's what I first thought when I saw that. Or maybe the first column has to do with running and the second has to do with blocking ...
