I like the 4 pm starts - I can accomplish something else before kickoff and the game ends by early evening. After watching a 1 pm game while having several cold ones I am not in the mood to do anything productive after the game ends & with the the evening kickoffs I have to face getting up for work when the game usually ends close to 11:30 - midnight.

Since the Steeler game won't be on til 4...I'll comment on the other games.

DirecTV HDTV customers alert - I have been out but see the Raiders-Dolphins game just started around 1:30 due to a rain/lightnig delay
Since the HD version of that game is on channel 722, the Steelers-Cards HD broadcast on 722 will only appear after the Dolphins game ends (I learned how that works when a non-Steelers HD game ran over into a Steelers broadcast last year). Until the Dolphins game ends, you will need to go to the SD/stretch the picture/craptastic version of the Steelers game that will be on another DirecTV channel. |
