woodley has barely played. the jury is still out.

timmons has played even less than woodley.

how are they the right choices?

I guess you didn't read the article? I don't think most steeler fans really appreciate how complicated LeBeaus defense can be to learn.

Woodley was basically a four year starter and he picked up on it right away.
Timmons can barely drink, he might take a year longer.

Woodley pretty muched played haggans out of Pitt.
Timmons was a ST monster, and if you REALLY knew how much of an athletic freak this guy was, and how much talent is there, you would hold your tongue atleast a little while longer. He's gonna be fine. Not many LB's fail in the steelers system. (minus alonzo jackson, also from FSU, but that doesnt mean shit either)

I'm sorry...

But I just have to ask.

Is there ANYTHING about the Steelers that you have EVER been positive about... unless they win it all in an undefeated season by 20 points every game?

come on bro woodley was a steal in the second... with 2 sacks in the jaxnville game.. it was impressive... if u dont see a shawne merrimen type player down the road idk what ur looking at... timmons fine... he's barely played but he force a fumble on special teams..

be positive... next season we could be great!

woodley is going to be something to contend with for a while he comes off the corner like a rat on acid.

If the draft where to play out as ESPN says than in hindsight we should have grabbed Tony Ugoh in the first round. At least then our o-line wouldn't be in shambles going into this draft.

sorry, but i can't be a lemming. i can only be a realist. nothing has been shown to suggest that woodley or timmons were the right choices. just as there is nothing to show that they were the wrong choices. of course you only focus on the negative. good job

i will leave the dreams of an undefeated season and 20 point victories in every game to others. i would rather be logical and realistic.

i hope he turns out to be a great player for the steelers. the sacks in the jags game were nothing special when you look at them. they are hardly a measuring stick for determining his future career in the NFL. i will wait for him to have at least a season under his belt before labeling him the right or wrong choice.

one game does not make a player. that's the mentality that the raiders use ala desmond howard, larry brown...
