We traveled to Qualcomm for a Monday night contest
Two good teams - it turned into a defensive slugfest

There were a lot of 3 and outs for each team
Bad calls by the refs made us want to scream

We all saw the fair catch call
No matter what the rule is - that should have been Steelers ball

There were also lots of good things - but where do I start?
The whole team stepped up to play their part

Bettis came back and his wheels didn't stop
He's a big reason we came out on top

Oh yeah, and I'll mention one more
How about Big Ben running in for a score

The Chargers still managed a comeback and took the lead
So it was going to be up to the kicker, Jeff Reed

Then with 65 seconds left to play
Something happened to ruin our day

Ben went down - a helmet rammed into his knee
Would he be okay? We'd have to wait and see

So to finish the game Charlie Batch came in
Jeff Reed kicked the field goal to seal the win

Now that's over and we must plan for next week
We look to restart our home win streak

The Jags come up north to try to test us
They better watch out or get run over by a Bus

They're riding high on the Bengals defeat
In the AFC North though, we're still the team to beat

Who our quarterback will be is still up in the air
Ben's a tough kid - he just might be in there

One way or another - when all is said and done
The Black & Gold will be 4-1
