Hey ICH!
Just wanted to make sure you saw this...
Zips Outlast Falcons, 24-14 Akron improves to 4-4 overall and 3-2 in MAC play. Oct. 29, 2005 Final Stats | Quotes | Notes BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) - Brett Biggs rushed for 159 yards and two touchdowns to lead Akron to a 24-14 win over Bowling Green on Saturday. Biggs carried 38 times and scored on runs of 1 and 3 yards in the second half as the Zips (4-4, 3-2 Mid-American Conference) overcame a 7-3 deficit. The Falcons (4-4, 3-2) countered on Sean O'Drobinak's 11-yard touchdown reception from Anthony Turner to cut Akron's lead to 17-14 early in the fourth quarter. Turner completed 22-of-30 passes for 173 yards with one interception while filling in for the injured Omar Jacobs. The Falcons got the ball two more times with a chance to tie or take the lead. I was expecting this. I went to the game with old friends. What a way to spend a vacation. But at least the weather was nice. At this rate, BG will lose to Kent. |
Re: Hey ICH!
Well, minus Jacobs, BG is a very average team. Probably would have been quite different had he played...

Re: Hey ICH!
Kent's pretty bad...I mean really, really bad. It would take a lot for even an average team to lose to them.
BG will win by at least 10. |
