Prayers appreciated
 

Not a real big deal, and not as serious as other people who need your prayers and well wishes....but just keep me in mind as I go to a specialist next month.

For the past month I have been on steroids due to incredible foot...ankle..knee..elbow ..and wrist pain. The pain seems to be much worse in me feet and progressed to the point that I couldnt hardly walk the stairs in my house.

My wife finally talked my stubborn butt into going to the Dr. and we got some bloodwork done...but it only eliminated certain possibilities (Rheumatoid Arthritis...Lupus...Gout...etc)...but we still dont know what it IS.

I can manage while on the steroids...but cannot stay on them forever because of progressive side effects.

So just keep me in mind and pray that the doctors can figure out what is going on....I have been active my whole life and am used to riding my bike 3-5 miles a couple of time a week so this is driving me crazy.

Man, starting to loose your mobility like that must be a scary proposition. I hope the specialist identifies it and you can walk pain free very soon! Keep your head up high - a positive attitude can conquer a lot.

You got it. Sounds like Rheumatoid Arthritis or maybe lymes? Have they considered that? My Mother had both at the same time ( I think she was the first in NJ).
