NEED TAILGATE INFO
 
Getting a chance to go to a STEELERS game and want to make the most of it.
I heard that tailgating is limited to 4-5 hours before game.
Is there anywhere in walking distance to Heinz Field that has unlimited tailgate hours and you don't need a pre-paid parking pass?

I know some of the lots that were over by the science center opened earlier than other lots (they open FIVE hours before kickoff & a lot of people line up their vehicles 1/2-1 hour before they open). BUT.. I don't know what the deal is with those lots over there now that they began casino construction....

There are lots (Blue 7G and Blue 7J) that are available for game-day parking without a pre-paid pass.

Mel, our lots open 5 hours before game time also. They always did.

Yes, that is what I was saying... I can see where it can be read the other way.

From what someone told me (and this is two year old informations, pre-casino-construction) the non-alco lots over by the sciece center opened earlier than 5 hours before game time.

Stlrs4Life? Is Blue 7F a pre-sold lot or not?

Also, those who are coming to the game, don't be fooled, the Blue 7G lot says "pre-sold"... but there are "X" amount of day-of spots.. if you get there EARLY you can get a spot.. if not, if you miss it they bump you to Blue 7J... which has "X" amount of day-of spots...

We should just come up with a sticky parking information thread maybe?

Yeah, Blue 7F is the same as your lot. So many open spots for each game.
