The chosen one can't save you!
BKA.. how confident are you that the so called chosen one is actually going to be God's gift to the TE position in the NFL and your team? Is he talented, yes! Is he over hyped? Absolutely!
OK, give us your best shot! |
Re: The chosen one can't save you!
Yes, but he is a soldier. And for those guys who try to take out his knees...he shall cry in front of his locker to the press so that those who oppose him shall feel the wrath...uh what dad Sr.?, Oh I'm sorry I got carried away.

Re: The chosen one can't save you!
Kellen Winslow Jr. is a beast my friends, not a bust....
Kellen has a rich tradition of football in his veins and has the talent to be better then even his father. Kellen put up beastly numbers in "DA U" and had no chance to showcase them in his one and a half games he played. Kellen was still warmimg up to the NFL when he played his only two games, because he held out for 2 of the 4 weeks of preseason. Kellen is the most talented TE to ever play the position....He is the fastest TE in the NFL(exept for The Pats 2004 1st round pick), hes strong, will not go down with arm tackles, he can go vertical, will burn LBs and was the most hyped TE ever out of college. Kellen will be the Browns savior on offense and if the Browns draft Alex Smith, he will be "THE CHOSEN ONE" *IF* Kellen were to due poorly it would be because Trent Dilfer is throwing to him He is injured His poor attitude Watch out, Todd Heap and K2 are the best TEs in the AFC North |
Re: The chosen one can't save you!

Re: The chosen one can't save you!
Yeah, Jersey get a clue...TEs are taking the NFL by storm
Tony Gonzalez-Leading Receiver for Chiefs Todd Heap-Although injured half the year, leading Receiver for Ratbirds Antonio Gates-Leading Receivers for Chargers Algea Crumpler-Leading Receiver for Falcons Jason Witten-Leading Receiver for the Cowboys You might argue none of these teams had solid WR cores, however, look at it this way...They have all made the playoffs within the last two seasons.... MY POINT??? If you want to rebuild to be a contender, a solid TE will not hurt your chances.... Oh and Jeremy Shockey makes honarable mentions as he was the leading Receiver for the Giants but his teams last playoff appearance was in '02 And Eric Johnson of the Whiners was their leading Receiver but his teams last post-season appearance was in '02 Oh and remember the Broncos of the late 90s? It didnt kill that (arguably) the best TE of all time was on their Superbowl teams....And ditto for the '00 Ravens. Times are changing, and TEs are becoming just as (if not, then more so) important as(or then) WRs |
Re: The chosen one can't save you!
How is it then that a player who has the pedigree and career dedication to a position that the Chosen One has, can be outplayed by crossovers from college basketball? Kinda makes you think they are not worth the hype...I should draft a forward out of the final four then. I don't see anything special about a player if we can replace them like that.

Re: The chosen one can't save you!
Gonzalez and Gates are the only former B-Ball players.....Its a coincidence, dont count on many more.....Gates and Gonzalez have the attributes and talent....They're not just good TEs because they once played basketball

Re: The chosen one can't save you!
As an Ohio State fan, it was funny to watch him make a fool of himself after they "Beat themselves" in the Championship Game. Not one of the players on that team ever so slightly conceded they were playing a team that was as good as them. As a fan of the game overall it was sickening to hear his rant because everyone knew this ego-freak was coming to the NFL. All of Brownie fans better hope Romeo can get his mind wrapped around this being a team game or you'll likely see him making his way to the land of misfits in Oakland within a few years. Hell maybe you'll get lucky and pick Clarett in the draft, wouldn't that be ironic.
