I would find it really difficult to pass on Thomas though. (27 is the lowest I've seen since he declared) Even IF we passed, I don't think he gets by Houston @ 20. He shows some big time potential. Most sites are showing him at CB because he is a bit undersized for the physical game he plays. I have read comparisons to a certain Steelers SS, but he's got a ways to go before I can put him in the same sentence. |
Re: Kirwan mock 4.0
Yeah, I am curious too as to why Thomas would drop that far.
Honestly I would be happy with Hayden, Wilson or McCourty. The latter 2 also are kick returners, so have added benefit in the ST game. |
Re: Kirwan mock 4.0
i havent read it yet, but appearantly don banks has an article today on SI.com saying that 10-11 of the 1st round ranked draft prospects failed drug tests at the combine.
i would lay money on "cypher blunt" thomas being 1 out of 3. :hunch: |
Re: Kirwan mock 4.0
trade down to get some more picks, trade up to pick one all star.. one or the 2

Re: Kirwan mock 4.0
I give this mock draft an F. I am just using common sense here and I may be wrong but I seriously doubt a franchise with 2 superbowl wins in these past 5 years will pass up Earl Thomas and Dan Williams for Kyle Wilson. Just a thought.

:toofunny: i knew it wouldnt be long before our resident kirwan hater would chime in.
then again, last year he thought there was no way the world champions would pass up on a CB for a DE. Quote:
