Yeah that's kind of ridiculous. Crap...I haven't even been able to justify paying thousands of dollars for an HD tv yet lol, I couldn't imagine having to pay $400+ a month on top of that. (I'm assuming that's per month...or is it a yearly fee?)

I've never had DTV (we have Atlantic Broadband)...what was the cost of it before?

Yep, I was thinking about finally taking the plunge and getting it. Not now. Especially in light of the way the game is being continually ruined with new powderpuff rules every week anymore.

Ugh . I remember it was $ 149.95 for the Sunday Ticket when I first got Directv in 2002 . I hope and pray the Steelers atleast have 6 primetime games ( Sunday , Monday , Thursday , Saturday , lol )

What I've done in the past is tell them I can't afford the Ticket anymore and they would throw in the HD free along with Showtime for 6 months . I cant say no to that . SOLD !

Yep...Last years price had a hard time getting the WAF(wife approval factor), don't think it's going to get it this year.

That's why I haven't had it in a few years. Cost is dumb. Besides...it got me to find a great, local Steelers bar and I have a blast on Sundays. They open up the top floor bar only for us, made it non smoking (with an outside patio for smokers) and have food/beer specials. We average about 50 - 75 people a game.

Call them and complain. They will crack and give you it a lot cheaper. I can't believe its that expensive.
