Atonement for Ben

Dear Steelers fans:
It is with much dismay that I have witnessed the unmaking of Ben Rothlisberger this past year. Althought there could still be dispute as to his actual guilt or innocence, the writing is on the wall.
I suggest the following:
If Ben donates a large sum of money to Women's Leadership Funds and perhaps any other Women's funds, he would not only atone for his wrongdoing, but I say it would greatly elevate him in the eyes of many Americans.
I would be proud to watch him play on in the future!
Many Thanks!
A Cleveland Browns Fan with sympathys for the current Pittsburgh Steelers Team!

Wow , where did that come from ? That would be an admission of guilt if he were to do such a thing . If he did do such a thing , then i would be all for it . Wow ! What a suggestion .

Which wall are you looking at ? Where did you read that writng ? Which wall , i wanna know .

its most certainly is not an admission of guilt at all. poor Ben for right or wrong has had his image tarnished, perhaps forever. But if he does somthing such as this there is hope that he can renew his product and sell more of his signature items and brand! I am for him even if he is guilty of wrongdoing. Everyone deserves a chance to atone and this will work for him. I hope that he finds this suggestion useful. I would really like to see Ben be rehabilitated in the public image!
Thanks for your interest,
CB

Re: Atonement for Ben

He's paying a PR pro a ton of money to help him with his reputation I'm not sure he has to do something as obvious as donating to a female oriented charity to begin to mend his image. Did you know he donates a ton of money to the police force in every city he plays in? Cleveland is on that list. He also attends several charity events throughout the offseason and makes donations at each of those as well. Did that help his image? I could think of a dozen things he should do that might help, but his PR guy will probably give him much better advice than I could. But you're thinking positive and I guess I'm glad someone from Cleveland is concerned about our QB :noidea:

America loves to see people fall from the top. We love it even more when that person comes back and makes it to the top again. Go figure.
