Lee Mays resigns for 1 year
PITTSBURGH (AP) -- Restricted free-agent wide receiver Lee Mays signed a one-year contract to remain with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Friday.
Mays, selected in the sixth round of the 2002 NFL draft, has played 48 games during his three-year career with the Steelers. He mostly contributed on special teams, but caught nine passes for 137 yards last season. Overall, he has 11 receptions for 154 yards and 36 kickoff returns for 750 yards. Mays' agent, John C. Hamilton, did not immediately return a phone message Friday evening. |

Re: Lee Mays resigns for 1 year
He's got the physical tools but he normally only decides to show up and make big plays in training camp... he made some nice grabs last year for us though, so we'll see...

Cobb can really make a name for himself this year.. especially depending on who we pick up in the draft.. the spots behind El and Ward are wide open, and should make for a fun training camp and preseason!
