Need Tailgating Help Desperately for this Sunday
Hi there,
Need some sound suggestions....My family (5 of us) and I are coming to the game; staying at the Holiday Inn .4 miles from station square. Husband doesn't want to drive once we park and would like to take the ferry to the game and be able to walk back to the hotel. Any suggestions on places/areas we can do full tailgating?? We are from York Pa area but will be leaving from Altoona early Sunday morning (how early should we be in Pgh?). This is only my second game which makes it special BUT the fact that my son who is in the army is home from Afghanistan on leave and was just recently hurt (he's ok) in combat....so needless to say, I want this experience to be perfect!!!! Thanks in advance for any help/assistance you can give. Gooooo Steelers :tt: |
Re: Need Tailgating Help Desperately for this Sunday
Here's some info that might help! If you don't want to drive to a spot to tailgate, then I suggest planning ahead to bring some food or beer (or even some money to pitch in) to join someone else's tailgate.
Here's some info I found on spots to tailgate. I'm not sure how early all the lots open, but 10AM sounds about right to me for when people start showing up. Hope you have fun and enjoy the game!! http://pittsburgh.about.com/cs/steel..._parking_2.htm http://texanmarktailgate.blogspot.co...tor-guide.html |
