Steelers missed out on a great player, Matt Roth, defensive end from Iowa. Have you seen this guy? He is amazing. I had the chance to see him play this past year. He is awesome. Tight ends are not worth a first round pick. Time will tell.

when u say missed pick, we never missed, we passed him up, we liked heath miller better, we need to surround ben with tools to work with for him to progress, the short tight end passes are what boosts the QB confidence. so im happy they got him instead of roth

I have to agree. I like the what Heath Miller could do for us. I like adding the idea of having another offensive threat.

Missed or passed does not matter. A bad pick like Heath Miller matters.

I`m thinking Cowher and Co. talked with Ben before the pick, and TE was the way to go. If we don`t use the tools Heath Miller brings, then yes it was a missed pick, lets hope we know how to use a TE

Thank you "clevestinks". That is my point. The Steelers use a blocking tight end, not a receiver type like Tony Gonzales. If Miller works out like Gonzales then we are going to kick people's asses. If he goes bust our offense will look like it did in '03.

u cant say if he was a bust it was a wasted pick. thats why the draft is so good. You dont know if the player is gonna be great or not

NFL network one of thier guys called Heath Miller the steal of the draft

Very true. Many people thought Heath Miller would be gone by pick 25. One mock draft had NY Jets taking him at 26 pick. This guy has a lot of potential and was a good pick in my opinion.
