Steelers fans can gear up for Saturday's playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens by attending the "Ruin the Ravens Rally" at noon on Friday.

Allegheny County Executive Dan Onorato and Pittsburgh Mayor Luke Ravenstahl will host the rally around the Terrible Tree in the courtyard of the Allegheny County Courthouse, 436 Grant St., Downtown. Fans are encouraged to wear black and gold.

The event will feature live music and free cookies and pretzels, a news release said. Former Steelers tight end Randy Grossman and mascot Steely McBeam will attend.

Fans are asked to donate canned goods, nonperishable food items or cash to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank at the rally. They can also donate items to decorate the tree.

Also that day, a "Steelers Playoff Party" featuring Bret Michaels will be held at Stage AE near Heinz Field.

Doors open at 3 p.m. for continuous WDVE-FM broadcasts, with live music starting at 7 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com.
