Ben leaves practice early for "conference call"

Strange:
http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/11271...d=steelers.xml

It was probably a call from the commissioner suspending him for 4 games because Ben had a drink at his own wedding :chuckle:

A starting QB leaving practice early for a "conference call" and then not being in the locker room after the "call" is over is noteworthy

If the team does not provide a further explanation that does not mean you do not report what is known

^ Mentions that ben was in a conference call with Houston Media. Maybe that's the conference call they're talking about? :noidea:

The wifey called, she wanted him to bring home some bread and milk

Yea, I'm betting on the Houston interview. Where else would they contact him ? I'm thinking it's a 'no biggie' situation. Not to worry.

As of now, I'm with you Moose. I hope that it is a non-issue (and hopefully not another lawsuit )

Bouchette of the P-G says it was not a media call

This was no conference call involving reporters, mind you; that would never happen, plus Ben did that at lunch time with the media in Houston.

Presumably there will be some explanation today:noidea:
