Predict the Steelers' first play of the year
 

I saw this on another board... I thought it would be interesting to get the Steelers Fever faithful's opinions! Predict the 1st play of the 2005 season by the Pittsburgh offense.

I'll start... Pass to Miller, 12 yards, 1st down. Cowher and Ben will try to get Big Earl involved early.

The first play will be dictated by field position, but I will go to a screen pass to Duce, go`s for Eleven yards. Move the chains!

I'd say the Steelers will change it up from the usual run 1st down type deal, and roll out ben and hit Randle El for an 8 yd gain.

Well as much as I would like to see them pass on 1st down....I don't think it will be their 1st play. I predict a run for a gain of 3-4 yrd on 1st down, and on 2nd down they will put it up in the air (ARE or Ward) for a 1st down (gain of 8 yrds).

You know I love to do homework...so here was our first play last year...

1-10-PIT33(14:55) D.Staley left end to PIT 35 for 2 yards (C.Woodson).
