Hearing Colts will sign Butler as DC
 

Saw a little tidbit on Twitter saying that Colts will hire Keith Butler as Colts new DC. So now, it looks like we have Pittsburgh West and the Indianapolis Steelers being put in place, following the Arians hire.

If this is true, I will be the first to say I'm NOT happy. I made a post a couple days ago talking about the defense not dropping off from LeBeau's 3-4 defense since Keith Butler is likely to be the stand-in position of our next D-coordinator. Looks like he was not looking forward to waiting around. Strange since he turned down the job from Whiz knowing he was next in line.

Looks like our LB coach and DC in waiting is heading to indy too. It is being reported by Adam Shefter.

I don't know...As much as I love DL, it might be time to nudge him into retirement. Is it worth losing our future OC in waiting? It would be nice to plug in Butler without losing a step. Sometimes you have to make a business decision.

Bouchette is saying its not a done deal...he has to interview Tuesday.

Even if he does leave Jerry Olsavsky is the assistant...he played at Pitt and was drafted by the Steelers. He would be a good replacement for Butler.

That would be too bad if he leaves but I am sure they will find a decent replacement for him if need be.
