Steeler of all time

Whos the one steeler u would want to go back in time to watch a game and meet him.

mine is Bill Dudley, the guy was the best of the best to small and nnot fast enought for football they said, but he led the league in rushing, punt returns, interceptions, and lateral passes attempted.

Of all time.. oh man, how in the hell can u narrow that down..there's just way too many.. I'd have to go back to the 70's and just watch the dynasty in action, and then go out and hang out w/ all of them!!!

I would have loved to have been there to see mean joe and jack lambert in action in the day !

Never saw him play... but my choice would be Bobby Layne, HOF QB. He just seems like he was the prototypical 50's- early 60's player... stay up all night carousing and still bring it when the clock started at gametime. Read the HOF profile on him below:

I'd love to go back to Three Rivers and watch "Madman Jack" roam the middle. I was too young to go then. I was 2yrs old when Lambert joined the Steelers. So the games from the glory years I watch are on DVD or VHS. I haven't enjoyed watching anyone play more. You'll never see the Glory Days of the '70's again.

I would have never guessed that you would have said Lambert, LOL
Good call.
