i hope people show some respect in this thread (but do not expect it).

by all accounts and reports, he was having a very solid camp at both positions. this probably solidifies will johnson a spot on the roster, who has been doing well in his own right.

Well this sucks. I actually was hoping he'd make the team considering he has the skill set to play both TE and FB.

Guess this means Will Johnson has a chance.

Ouch. I hope that he heals up ok. Never like it when a player has this type of injury.

really sorry to hear it, DJ was having a strong pre-season up until that point.

Now, Tomlin said "Severe Knee Injury". Did he ever confirm that it was an ACL specifically?

Ed Bouchette is the one who put it out that he tore his ACL. Nothing on Steelers' website yet.

Very unfortunate. It seemed he was ready to play a critical role in Haley's new offense and was working tremendously hard. However, "the standard is the standard", so it's time for Will Johnson, Welsye Saunders, and Leonard Pope to step up.
