As prophesied by ancient scriptures and present-day Tim Tebow tweets, the mark of the beast reared its ugly head in the 666th Monday Night Football game in the form of Mark Sanchez's quarterback rating.

Sanchez was a pitiful 14 of 31 with one touchdown and two interceptions in the New York Jets' loss to the Houston Texans. The performance lowered his quarterback rating to -- wait for it -- 66.6....

On Monday morning, Tebow tweeted that he was "looking forward to giving God all the glory in tonight's 666th Monday Night Football game." ...

Sanchez has thrown six touchdowns, six interceptions and is averaging 6.6 yards per attempt on the season.

I say start Tebow. It's time to put in the kid!

Tebow is such an inspiring player that he even had me, a Patriots fan, rooting for him in the Texans game.

The kids a winner.
I don't understand all the Tebow hate.

Why not give him the starting quarterback position, give him all the snaps in practice, take the year to work with his throwing, help him develope into a decent passer?

If you turn Tebow into an even average passer he becomes a dangerous quarterback, a much more dangerous and durable and inspiring version of Michael Vick who actualy doesn't turn the ball over.

I'm going to laugh if the Jets lose to the Colts, which I believe they will, and then start Tebow two weeks later and he starts winning games but it's too little too late because they waited too long.

Ok, seriously? Like Satan is a big enough goof to run into his own lineman's back and fumble the football. Nay. Satan would run the ball for a touchdown every play. Any defender that got near him would be dealt multiple lashings from his fiery whip.
