Best Picture should go to Amour or Beasts of the Southern Wild, but since the Academy almost never gets it right, you can cross those off right now. Lincoln will probably win, which isn't the end of the world. Day-Lewis did quite nicely in it, and will win his slot as well. My fear is that Lawrence will win actress, mostly for having a nice figure. They may give Zeitlin the director's award just to spread the wealth around.

IMO Lincoln will win best picture and Spielberg will win best director.

When it came out I thought Zero Dark Thirty was the frontrunner based on initial rave reviews but since the film pretty much buys into the Team CIA perspective that "enhanced interrogation" was a necessary part of the War On Terror the film apparently has gotten bogged down in that controversy and lost some momentum

I enjoyed both Lincoln and Zero Dark Thirty (saw ZDT today) as bookend stories of America on the rise in the 19th century as it ended slavery in the U.S. in contrast to a story on what it takes as America tries to hold the empire together in the early 21st century.

Lincoln was good, but haven't seen the others.
