How Will Posterity Remember Brady

Unprecedented success for Brady in his first 5 years, but since 2004 Brady is 0-2 in Super Bowls and has had 2 abysmal home losses in AFC [;ayoff games in the past three seasons

Looks like he will not get that 4th ring to match Bradshaw and Montana

So sad:crying01:

I believe that if he never wins another SB, he will be remembered for spygate and getting beat by Eli in two SB's. Personally, I think he's a great QB and definitely one of the best I've seen play, but that won't matter after he's retired.

Not saying hew is not excellent, but I thought he was going to get 5 or 6 rings = like Troy Aikman he had his gretaest success early with disappointments to follow

I think he will go down in discussion as one of the best QBs to ever play, even if he doesn't get another ring.

He still has many years ahead of him, and as long as him and Bellichick are there, they will always be a threat to win the Super Bowl.

Oh yeah, definitely after they beat the Eagles I thought he'd get one or two more easily. I don't see how he could have a lot of years left, he's 35 now I believe.

I agree he's one of the best I've seen as well but playing the neutral here and just pretending I'm a Pats fan, I've got to ask why they didn't surround this guy with more reliable and useful weapons to throw to. Brady made ordinary small white guys look great and he deserves credit for that. But even the greats had their key targets like Stallworth, Swan, Taylor, Rice, etc.

that's a good point, they tried w/ Moss and Brady put up huge numbers that year, and more recently w/ the double TE sets. And early in his career it didn't matter as much because they had a Parcells team coached by Billicheck that was stronger defensively than offensively.

You know that D some key heart and soul kind of players. The sort of intangibles that are hard to replace. But the Pats kept shipping them out or had guys retiring on them. Strange management decisions by Bill.

Hopefully he stays stuck at 3 rings as HC and only Noll will have won 4 (although Belichick did get 2 rings as an assistant with the Giants)

Oh, they're done. They won't be back with that regime.
