Thumb Gate

I was just watching the feed from KDKA interviewing Ben and here are his comments about "the thumb" http://kdka.com/sports

Ben....

"yeah I played all last year with a broken thumb I'm sure some fans are happy that I did this again." Mike Zappone started to chuckle.

I for one won't argue with that comment. Hey that broken thumb got us a Super Bow I say leave it alonel!! I'll give that statement a :thumbsup:

plenty of bens passes were horrible with that busted thumb. im just glad he could shotput a football 40 yards. get rid of your superstitions if you think an injured thumb is gonna help the steelers win it all again this year. personally i liked the reports coming out of camp with ben and his healthy thumb. this is a setback, although not detrimental.

as tough as he is, a hurt ben is not a better ben.

At this point, every time Ben gets hurt in some way just adds to the legend.
