NEW ORLEANS - ...The Steelers haven't played a regular-season game outside of North America in their 80-year history...

I don't like this idea. Simply don't like it. But, I will watch the game and hope they have a jolly good time.

I wish that (bleep) stayed there and never came back.

I think it totally blows and is a punch in the face to the league,
fans here are missing out to please the queen. Dollar signs are destroying a great game. |
Re: Goodell: Steelers’ game in London already sold out
I just dont get this. this game would have sold out in their own stadiums.

Re: Goodell: Steelers’ game in London already sold out
Upside is this avoids a home game for the Vikings
Downside is this means another early season bye week |
Re: Goodell: Steelers’ game in London already sold out
I don't thinkI have the vocabulary to properly express how much I hate this shit here. I know that nothing trumps the desire for the all mighty dollar' but this is disgusting to me. Fans of NFL teams should not lose even one chance to enjoy watching their teams play in person. I don't know if even a small percentage agree with me, but what I would like to see is at least a boycott of some kind by NFL fans. Something like not going to the concession stands for a game ot two. Make zero purchases inside the stadiums. Nothing talks louder than taking dollars out of the owners pockets. What do you all think?

i don't like this either. London games, horrendous Pro Bowls.....
League needs to wake up. On a positive note (if there is any), the Steelers get some good national coverage/publicity again. Problem is, over the last 2 years or so, whenever we play on national TV (Monday nights, Sunday nights, etc), our "zombie" team shows up looking like they just crawled out of bed - then proceed to get their asses kicked and embarrassed. Hopefully the "good" team shows up this time? |
Re: Goodell: Steelers’ game in London already sold out
It has been about 1200 years since the Vikings have been in England. I guess it is time again.
