Kind of a shame, in my opinion. Ward's a great player who the fans love and the team loves, but management won't give him a chance to follow in the footsteps of Jerome Bettis, who took a significant paycut to finish his career in Pittsburgh.

All I can do is shake my head.
He got his 1000 catches. He got his 12000 yards. In order to get him those milestones the Steelers decided to sacrifice their offense when he's on the field last season. No matter how much I like him, I have to admit that right now he's just a No.4/5 reciever who can't play on special team. And if he wants to continue to play instead of choosing retirement and finishing his career in Steelers, all I can do is shake my head.
