By Scott Brown
PITTSBURGH TRIBUNE-REVIEW
Monday, April 2, 2012

The Steelers hosted West Virginia cornerback Keith Tandy and Alabama linebacker Jerrell Harris for predraft visits Monday.

Tandy, a two-time first-team All-Big East pick, led the Mountaineers with four interceptions and nine pass breakups last season. The 5-foot-10, 202-pounder also had 64 tackles.

The 6-2, 239-pound Harris had 29 tackles for the Crimson Tide last season, including 3.5 for losses. Neither player was invited to the NFL Scouting Combine in February.

The Steelers have hosted six out-of-area prospects. They are allowed 30 visits prior to the draft.
