Re: Offensive depth for Steelers leading into the Draft
Based on pre draft visits
Mike Adams, OT, Ohio State
Bobby Massie, OT, Ole Miss
Mitchell Schwartz, OT, California
I think they are strongly considering drafting a tackle high. Colon can always move into Guard or just might get injured again. Gilbert is in his first year on the left side and behind both there is the uncomparable Jonathan Scott. One thing the Steelers don't do is assume anything. They don't assume Colon is going to be able to stay healthy and they don't assume Max Starks will be back.
Also visits by
Isaiah Pead, RB, Cincinnati and
LaMichael James, RB, Oregon
Shows they are at least considering a fast running back to add to our stable of power backs. Speed will add a totally new dimension to the offense. After the first few 75 yard TD runs or screen passes we won't be complaining about drafting a RB in this year's draft.
